Quick and Easy Grilled Chicken Breasts

A simple chicken recipe for beginner grillers. Boneless-skinless chicken breasts are a great place to start for those new to grilling. Basically any seasoning you enjoy will work on chicken. Feel free to experiment with flavor combinations. Always use a thermometer when ever you are grilling chicken.

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts

1 tablespoon olive oil

salt and pepper/your favorite BBQ rub/seasoning


1Preheat grill to medium or approximately 500f at the GrillGrate surface.

2Place all ingredients in a bowl and coat the chicken well.

3Place the chicken breast on preheated grill. Grill for approximately 5 minutes before rotating the breast 45 degrees to get those beautiful crosshatch grill marks.

4Grill additional 3-4 minutes before flipping the chicken. Go through the same rotational process.

5Chicken is cooked once it reaches 165f internally. Always use a good thermometer when you are grilling for two reasons: food safety and to ensure you don't over cook and dry out your foods.

6Remove from grill to cutting board or platter and serve immediately.
