Fresh thick Yellowfin, or Blackfin Tuna works well for this recipe. This is such a delicacy, that you want to be able to taste the flavor and not spend time disguising it!

Ingredients

Servings

6

oz

Pieces of Fresh Tuna

0.5

tbsp

Old Bay Seasoning

1

tsp

Lemon Juice

1

tsp

Lime Juice

0.13

cups

Olive Oil

0.5

tbsp

Chopped Fresh Oregano OR

1

tsp

Dried oregano

0.5

Large ziploc bag

Grilled Peppers

Grilled Portobello Mushrooms

Fresh Spinach Salad with crumbled bacon and chopped pecans, dressed

Directions

Step 1

Combine Old Bay, Lemon Juice, Lime Juice, Olive Oil, and Oregano; Mix Well.

Step 2

Place tuna into ziploc bap.

Step 3

Pour seasoning mixture over tuna and seal bag.

Step 4

Marinate for 20 min

Step 5

Preheat GrillGrates to 500°F

Step 6

Remove tuna from bag and place on grill

Step 7

Sear Steaks 1-2 min each side for medium rare

Step 8

--Note- Judge the initial sear marks to get an indication of how hot you are cooking. If the sear marks are dark to black on the first flip, you are cooking too hot, turn down the burners. Notice how the natural juices sizzles just under the tuna to enhance juiciness. Your grill never sounded so good.
