Pork chops are delicious and make a satisfying meal that's both healthy and nutritious.

Ingredients

Servings

1

Pork Chops

For the brine:

1.25

cups

Water

1

cups

Ice

2

Tablespoons Salt

1

Tablespoons Dried Rosemary

0.5

Tablespoon Granulated Garlic

0.5

Tablespoon Brown Sugar

Directions

Step 1

Make the brine by combining all the brine ingredients except the ice in a saucepan.

Step 2

Heat brine until all the salt is dissolved bringing it to a brief boil if necessary.

Step 3

Allow the brine to cool off the heat for 10 minutes and then add the ice to cool the brine mixture.

Step 4

Pour the chilled brine mixture over the pork chops in a non-reactive container or zipper-top bag and allow them to soak in the refrigerator for six hours, or as long as overnight.

Step 5

Before you are ready to cook, remove the pork chops from the refrigerator and discard the brine. Pat the pork chops dry and allow them to rest on a plate for 30 minutes at room temperature.

Step 6

Set the SearNSizzle™ to cook in the middle position.

Step 7

Preheat the SearNSizzle™ for 10 minutes on broil.

Step 8

Pat the pork chops a second time with paper towels to make sure they are dry before placing them on the SearNSizzle™.

Step 9

Set the Air Fryer to high and grill for six minutes.

Step 10

Flip the pork chops and continue to Air Crisp for an additional 4-10 minutes or until the pork chop reaches an internal temperature of 145F.

Step 11

Serve immediately

For Ninja Foodi you recommend “broil” settings for pork on another page.
Would you use broil in the Foodi for this instead of AF, or can you tell me what temperature you consider “High” on the Foodi?
    Thank you.

For this recipe, the Air Fryer setting will work best.

Using foodi deluxe. Step 9 Set the Air Fryer to high and grill for six minutes. Is Air Fryer the same as Air Crisp? Also you mention rice. is this a typo, since there is no mention in the instructions.

Hi Ralph, ice instead of rice! 🙂 Air Fryer is a generic term for the appliance (Foodi, Instant Pot, etc).
