Ingredients

4 Pears

Canola oil spray

6 oz Gorgonzola Cheese crumbled

2 Tablespoons softened butter

Honey (we used a spicy habanero honey)

Directions

1Preheat your grill to 600-700F at the GrillGrate surface.

2Slice the pears in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds with a spoon to create a small “cup” to hold the Gorgonzola cheese.

3Combine the Gorgonzola crumbles with the softened butter in a small bowl

4Lightly spray the pears with canola oil on the flesh side.

5Place the pears face down on the GrillGrates to sear them. After two minutes twist them 45 degrees to achieve the coveted crosshatch pattern.

6After two more minutes remove the pears from the grill. Reduce the heat to low or 400F

7Fill each pear with approx. 2 tablespoons of Gorgonzola mixture.

8Place pears back on the grill and close lid. Cook three minutes and remove from grill to serving dish.

9Lightly drizzle honey over the pears to finish.
