Crabmeat Stuffed Salmon on the Grate Griddle

We find this wonderful combination of crab and salmon pre-made at Costco stores.  It’s is a regular on our Costco shopping list and a favorite to grill for guests. It's what we like to call a "show stopper".  The Grate Griddle is the perfect platform to grill this without it falling apart or burning up.

1 Package Crab Meat Stuffed Salmon from Costco

1In preparation, take the salmon out of the package and look to see which side shows more salmon vs. crab meat. That is the side that should hit the griddle first.

2Preheat your grill with the Grate Griddle in place to 375°F - 400°F. The goal is to achieve a crisp golden brown on the crabmeat stuffing without blackening or burning the crabmeat.

3Use Avocado Oil, Duck Fat spray or canola oil on the salmon and crabmeat as well as the hot griddle just before placing the salmon on the griddle. It should slide not stick when placed on the griddle.

4Grill 3-4 minutes then using a spatula carefully flip the salmon. The crabmeat should be golden brown and the salmon getting more pink.

5Grill to finish 4-5 minutes. Determine doneness by observing the salmon on the edge for firmness or it easy to flake off. Remove from grill, plate and serve.
